rants.
today
managed to secure an online order for the zen, thanks to zhao peng’s teacher. nothing much happening today. yet another boring day in the boring “no-life” life of derek.
yesterday
math mock promos….it was a chore having to sit still for 3 whole hours straight.
after the paper, zhao peng and i went to creative @ international business park to check out the supposedly hot deal for the zen. unfortunately, the ridiculously low price was valid only for online purchase. haha. nonetheless, i’ll still be getting one cos it’s a steal..really.
anyways, after that we went to changi airport to have lunch and mug. however, we spent more time hopping from terminal to terminal in search of popeye the fast food restaurant, than the time we took for lunch and mugging put together..and i took the skytrain. cool man. “derek’s first skytrain experience”. haha. actually there’s a much more suitable name for the skytrain — it’s more like a snail-carriage. the skytrain somehow reminded me of the monorail at the zoo, except that it has a nicer station. haha. *lame*.
time to take a poke at adeline and selly! haha. look at the plane in the foreground. guess what airline’s that..?
garuda indonesia – adeline’s favourite airline! it has a pretty good reputation of…
er..nvm.
selly didn’t take garuda indonesia to singapore though…she rowed a sampan here. haha. she started her journey in around 2006 and finally reached singapore this year…just in time for the JAE intake. haha.
alright enough of crapping around…
oh yeah…for people who’re still stuck on internet explorer, please realize that internet explorer is not the only web browser out there. it’s about time to make a swtich: google chrome is an awesome browser and also a good alternative to firefox. check it out: Google Chrome. =D

finally WR is history. a huge burden off my chest! =)
oh..Apple just came up with a complete revamp of their products..new ipod nano, ipod touch..etc and even new iTunes. lol. the new ipod touch and nano (9 colours available!!) looks really attractive can. unfortunately i’ve already spent a significant amount out of my wallet buying the creative zen. =(.
my existing ipod has been full since eons ago. urgh! can’t sync new songs onto it! i’m thinking of getting the new ipod classic. it’s slightly slimmer than my video but packs in a whopping 120gb. perfect for me! =D
ahh. i think i’m being too materialistic! can’t help it though – it’s Apple we’re talking about here. haha.

now life’s back to normal….slacking, watching tv & movies, surfing the net, splurging, eating, sleeping… an endless, mindless routine.
although promos are over, there’s still a strange lingering burden weighing down on me…like an unknown heavy load on my mind – weird, i know.
while i desperately try to discern what’s going on, you may want to invest your time in a more informative or entertaining website…

my lucky day?
hello guys.
i didn’t manage to make it to school today. (i sound like i was being hunted down or something…but trust me, it’s much worse than that) – and i’m NOT going to elaborate here cos it’s damn dirty (literally) and disturbing..
i spent the whole day slacking off…watching movies etc.
yesterday night was exciting…cos it was F1 night! fast cars…! adrenaline rush..! haha. actually it’s not really that exciting… the circuit is pretty narrow and full of sharp bends, making it hard for drivers to throttle up to the max speed and difficult to overtake others. guess all the hype and excitement is only justified by it being the first night street circuit race and located in singapore. it was a pretty eventful race though…. esp ferrari’s pitstop blunder.
guess i’ll stop ranting here…
