the day of the month

i’m so hating JC life. tests, tests and more tests….urgh!!

anyways, i just read raymond’s latest blog post from his (quote) sexy dead blog (end quote). his post was super long and hilarious. haha.

yesterday was the so-called “day of the month” according to so-called bin ming, cos of the so-called full 30 minutes of so-called lecturing and scolding the so-called “P” delivered during so-called morning assembly. the so-called best part was that he was mostly scolding the so-called teachers in front of the entire so-called college, criticizing them for their so-called lack of responsibility. it was quite unnecessary and, according to so-called mr chan (my gp tutor), will cause students to lose respect for teachers (which i can’t agree more). these kind of lecturing should be contained within the walls of the boardroom.

and his usage of er…so-called is confusing me. the grand stand is the grand stand, so why call it the “so-called grand stand”? also: so-called field, so-called latecomers, so-called student leaders….=.=”

another thing i noticed while doing my 2.4km napfa run: he spent the next 40 minutes or so lecturing the latecomers – after his already long lecturing during morning assembly. for every round i ran past the “so-called grand stand”, i could vividly hear words like “irresponsible”, “no self-discipline”, “confiscate ez-link cards”….

“the day of the month”, such an apt phrase.
