i blog quite infrequently nowadays. i don’t know why. perhaps there’s nothing much happenning, really.
anyways, i thought i ought to come online today to keep myself updated with social stuff. this is the first time in days that i’ve touched the computer. haha. i’m quite impressed with how i managed to abstain from the powerful attraction of the internet. hahaha. okay alright..i’ve got a confession to make. i’ve been online almost 24/7 using my phone. lol.
okay..look how i’ve digressed, again and again. okay. back to why i’m here…
i’m here to let everyone know that i’m still alive, although i’m, very unfortunately, unwell. i’ve been down with chicken pox (and to think that i can contract it at my age…tsk!) since monday.
i hear that the symptoms of chicken pox worsens in older people. and yes, i consider myself old, but young at heart. that explains the super uber bad pox outbreak i have. it’s popping out everywhere!! in places you can’t imagine too!! zzZ! haha. okay. that probably sounds mildly disturbing. and oh…the itch. thank god the worst is over. the first few days of the outbreak….urgh! i couldn’t even move around properly. haha. anyways, you wouldn’t believed what the doctor prescribed me. along with the usual flu, cough, itch, fever and antibiotics pills, he gave me this large box of 70 pills (each of these pills cost $1..mind you!). i was given specific directions to take 2 of these tablets 5 times a day, for a whole week (i’m still taking these as i speak). first 2 in the morning at 8am, next 2 at 12pm, then at 4pm, 8pm and 12am. it’s a cycle. BUT you haven’t heard the worst yet. haha. i was kinda curious and wanted to find out what medicine that is (cos of the scary-looking “poison” sign on the box). so i googled the name of the active ingredient in the pill. turns out….the medicine is for…….GENITAL WARTS! omg. haha. i was kinda surprised, and obviously, shocked too! the doctor actually gave me pills for genital warts??!! haha..
i’m guessing he knows what he’s doing. so i’m still taking the pills for genital warts. hahaha.
