life

i had so much fun during the overnight stay on pre-camp. we had night cycling till the wee hours of the morning! it was exhausting, but the fun and excitement totally overshadowed the tiredness! (:

also, we checked out one of the checkpoints we planned earlier. it’s a trail into the nature reserve. and my….it was completely pitch black! we had to inch our way in, and even with the lightsticks, the path ahead of us was totally cloaked in darkness. girish pointed out a very good analogy: the trail is just like life itself. it’s full of uncertainties and obstacles. but if you take small, careful steps and persevere on (and perhaps with a little help from your friends as well), you will eventually make it to the end. how true is that! (:

with that in mind, i hope the actual PSL camp will be a success! our hard work and effort will eventually pay off! i’m sure of that!
